It's over!

The colloquium, that is.

I started to talk at 4:30pm, and ended at 4:45pm.

I thought it went well. I was not too nervous, and I had my notes written nicely.

And my presentation was very...presentable.

So the next TWO milestones are:

Feb 27 - Submit revised thesis to MG

March 6 - Thesis sent to ALL committee members

March 20 - Defense

Graduate Colloquium is Coming to Town!

Yes. It is finally here.

And I'm nervous.

I'm scared, and I am preparing for my nightmare of the month.

March 20

Absolutely certain that this will be the day when I get fried, grilled, battered, and burnt.

This is it!

I can't believe that this day will even materialize but it's here finally!

I'll be conducting the graduate colloquium on Feb 23.

And the thesis defense on Mar 6 or 8.

Yet another update

1. I want to kiss the feet of the person who came up with the idea of member-checking interviews.

My third interviews are done. Finito. Completed. Hallelujah!


2. There will be a total of eight chapters.

Chapter 1: Introduction
Chapter 2: Literature Review
Chapter 3: Methodology and Procedure
Chapter 4: Describing the field
Chapter 5: Knowing the participants
Chapter 6: Description of data
Chapter 7: Analysis of data
Chapter 8: CONCLUSION

So far, first 6 chapters are COMPLETE.


3. Met with D.G. She likes it.


4. Next week, will meet with J.K.


5. Thing has to be DONE and MAILED by Feb 20.


6. Defense tentatively March 6 or 8.
