This is it!

This post is very backdated but just to let you know that I've collected my bound theses from Gnomon Copy on May 17, and distributed them to the various professors and the library on May 18.

Now I can say I am officially DONE!

Thank you, so much, for your support and encouragement through the years. It would not have been possible without you.

DONE!

I've got the signatures and will be printing them.

And I finally submitted my HSR project completion form.

Oh won't you please...

Just give me the signatures?

So that I can get this over?

And Done?

Please?

I can't believe it

I started working on this research thesis in October 2005. I still vaguely remember sitting down at Franco's with MG with my very vague idea and a vague concept of what I will be going through the next 2 years.

Writing a thesis is no easy job. It requires a lot of hard work, determination, and lots of pain.

But it has been an interesting journey. Not to say too, that I've learned what it means to WRITE non-stop.

I think I've grown, through this project, as a person with a more open mind and a less critical stance.

On Monday, I'll print my thesis and submit it to the dean of graduate studies. Once he approves, I'm officially done.

Which means I'm left with printing and binding.

Hallelujah!

I PASSED!!!!

WITH NO REVISIONS NEEDED!
Defending my thesis TODAY!

Yes, it's finally here. The thing I've been working for these past years is finally coming into fruition.

The time is now.

On March 20, approximately 1pm EST, I'll be defending my Masters thesis in front of my committee members.

Submitted thesis

I submitted my thesis today. I pray that the committee members will have good things to say.

Or at least, be merciful.

That's it. No more thesis till March 20!

And my paper arrived. A ream of acid-free, 25% rag content, permalife paper cost me $33.

Thank God Barbara will be taking half of it. Phew!

Till next time!

It's over!

The colloquium, that is.

I started to talk at 4:30pm, and ended at 4:45pm.

I thought it went well. I was not too nervous, and I had my notes written nicely.

And my presentation was very...presentable.

So the next TWO milestones are:

Feb 27 - Submit revised thesis to MG

March 6 - Thesis sent to ALL committee members

March 20 - Defense

:-)
