Meeting Professor John Krout

Tomorrow I'll meet Professor Krout from the Gerontology Institute about my research idea. I don't know how it will go but I do have an outline about the possible tracks where my research can go. I think it is very premature to go see him now about the project but I feel it is good to talk to him especially since he is available.

He may be a very busy man and it is good to "get" him when he's available. Oh my....

I just hope that I am prepared. I've written out my outline in a notebook that I'm just going to speak with him about. Maybe he can give me some ideas, or guide me towards a research focus that is more precise and targeted at my intended audience.

But it is such an honor to be speaking to a man who is so widely read in this field and I believe the conversation itself will be an eye-opener for me.

We'll see how it goes.

Afternote: Spoke with Professor Krout for about an hour. We talked a lot about the various resources which will help me. That will definitely be a good headstart, by reading those articles and speaking with the experts. Another thing is that he is willing to be on my thesis advisory team. That is just perfect.

Funny he asked me if I had an education in nursing.... I wonder what could've happened if I really do have one. It can be the joke of the millennium.
A Blog About My Research Project

This is a blog about my research project, or otherwise known as a Master's thesis. This blog is FULLY inspired by Adriana Sassano, who happens to be working on her thesis on BLOGS! This blog serves to be a virtual working space and timeline for my project; a reference for myself and those who are embarking on your own research as well. Since this is a working blog, I shall disable comments. But should you have any suggestions, questions, constructive criticisms, possible working partnerships, please feel free to send me an email and I promise I will respond.
